And the best part is that you can put all the following ideas into action from the comfort of your own home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reach Out to Publications and Local Government Officials<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Write a letter to the editor. <\/strong>Keep an eye out for cases of animal exploitation and for current issues involving animals. Then write in support of animal rights to your school newspaper or to the editor of the magazines you read. Your letter could be seen by thousands of people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Express your disapproval<\/strong> <strong>to film and TV producers<\/strong> whose work contains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peta.org\/about-peta\/faq\/what-is-speciesism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">speciesist<\/a> characters who abuse or ridicule animals, and keep the TV network or film production company looped in as well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Call or write newspapers and sponsors that run inappropriate ads<\/strong> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seaworldofhurt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SeaWorld<\/a> or other exploitative businesses and let them know that you don&#8217;t approve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use Social Media<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Post on the social media pages of companies<\/strong>\u2014such as <a href=\"https:\/\/support.peta.org\/page\/1096\/action\/1?locale=en-US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Victoria&#8217;s Secret<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peta.org\/lifestyle\/personal-care-fashion\/cruelty-free-cosmetics-brands-to-use-instead-of-mac\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MAC<\/a>\u2014that still pay for sickeningly cruel tests on animals in laboratories. This validates their compassionate choices and gets your followers (and theirs) to think about animal rights issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Share videos, images, and articles about animal issues on social media. <\/strong>Post graphic footage from inside slaughterhouses, heartwarming videos of pigs playing together, articles about animals&#8217; intelligence, vegan recipes and tutorials\u2014whatever you think will help get the message across.
