On Wednesday, an eyewitness informed PETA that management had installed screens that Marilyn could push through to escape. And early Thursday morning, Marilyn was seen outside with her friends! Thank you for speaking up for animals like Marilyn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Original post:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A cat named Marilyn has reportedly been entombed in the ceiling of an apartment overhang in Houston, Texas after maintenance workers patched and sealed a series of openings through which she may have entered. PETA has repeatedly reached out to property management, urging them to open the area and let the cat out, but our pleas have fallen on deaf ears.
