Being an indoor kitten is adoptable Marmalade\u2019s jam.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Marmalade\u2014as the group\u2019s tortoiseshell has since been named\u2014and her kitty crew were quickly chauffeured to a nearby safe harbor: <a href=\"https:\/\/spotlight.peta.org\/petasaves\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PETA\u2019s shelter<\/a>. There, the cat clique proved to be remarkably social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marmalade\u2019s good fortune didn\u2019t stop there: Her white knight\u2014er, dame, actually\u2014convinced the cats\u2019 owner to allow three of the cats to live indoors with her and allow PETA to help find other safe, loving homes for the remaining gals. She has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peta.org\/issues\/animal-companion-issues\/overpopulation\/spay-neuter\/\">spayed<\/a>, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. As she\u2019s grown, her foster guardians have come to notice that her trust and playfulness have grown, too.
