PETA is no stranger to scoring a W for animals in<\/em> the courtroom. But a staff member was coming from doing just that when she saw the chance to nab a big win for a tiny kitten right outside<\/em> a rural North Carolina courthouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"A<\/a>
There is nothing dilute about Barbara\u2019s superbness.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The roughly 4-week-old dilute calico was crouched amid the justice hall\u2019s bushes. Knowing there was no time to waste, my colleague quickly scooped up the courthouse cutie and secured her safely on comfy blankets in a handy carrier. Since my fellow fieldworker Thomas and I were visiting dogs forced to exist outdoors nearby, she called us for backup. Thomas and I chauffeured sweet Barbara\u2014as she\u2019s since been dubbed\u2014back to PETA. There, Thomas\u2014who is also a licensed veterinary technician on PETA\u2019s spay\/neuter clinics\u2014examined Barbara and ensured that she received necessary care. Barbara headed to foster with PETA staff the very same day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara is divine, right? We know, we know \u2026 leading<\/em>! But keep reading, and we promise you\u2019ll have no objections.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbara\u2019s calico colors may be dilute and muted, but her personality is not. \u201cShe may be the best kitten ever,\u201d one of Barbara\u2019s temporary carers\u2014who is also one of PETA\u2019s most seasoned kitten foster guardians\u2014reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should be illegal to be this fabulous.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbara is roughly 10 weeks old. She will be fully vaccinated and spayed before adoption. She is very playful and should be in a home with at least one other social feline friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
