But occasionally, it\u2019s a simple phone call\u2014like the one we received from an open-admission shelter in rural Virginia: A petite pup was left anonymously in the shelter\u2019s after-hours drop-off cage. Her foster guardian\u2014a PETA fieldworker\u2014and her family report that Rosemary is indeed the spice of life! The sweet-natured girl is great with kids and loves other dogs, and she\u2019s studiously working on adding \u201cpotties outside\u201d to her list of talents.
