The miniature mutt was forced to roam the beaches and compete for scraps with a pack of eight other dogs\u2014no home, human caretaker, or humanoid mouse boyfriend in sight. One that leads to PETA\u2019s clinic!<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In partnership with the Humane Society of Puerto Rico, PETA helped sterilize and vaccinate <a href=\"https:\/\/headlines.peta.org\/peta-global-compassion-fund\/puerto-rico\/dec-3-215-animals-helped\/\">215 animals over just two days<\/a>. But when our fieldworkers saw Minnie\u2019s sorry state, they knew she needed advanced care.
