It\u2019s not October 3, and the only math this cat gets enthused over is 1 treat + 1 treat = 0 treats because he already ate them\u2014but four-legged Kevin G. does share one very important personality trait with his Mean Girls<\/em> namesake: His confidence and affectionate demeanor are impossible to ignore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ironically, PETA took custody of Kevin after rural North Carolina residents asked Community Animal Project fieldworkers<\/a> to remove the spicy<\/em>-tempered free-roaming cats they\u2019d been feeding and caring for. Unable to afford the cost of feeding the hungry mouths and concerned for the cats\u2019 safety amid near-daily fresh frost, the cats\u2019 caretakers called PETA for help. But one brown tabby\u2019s humane trap might as well have had a sign that read, \u201cNo mean girls<\/em> (or guys) here!\u201d When Kevin began booping a fieldworker\u2019s fingertip through the trap\u2019s steel squares, it became official: This is one fetch<\/em> feline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back at PETA\u2019s shelter, Kevin\u2019s gregarious nature only became more apparent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do you like me now?!<\/em><\/strong> *rips shirt off*<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And after a PETA veterinary assistant met the charming chap, he and his wife just had one thing to tell Kevin: You <\/em>can sit with us.<\/em> In foster care, Kevin proved he\u2019s no plastic\u2014the tabby fella was quick to clique with his feline foster family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Wednesdays, we wear<\/em> nothing.
\u2014Kevin\u2019s foster sibling, Luna<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

How much does Kevin\u2019s foster family love him? The limit does not exist.<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Kevin is roughly 3 years old. He\u2019s vaccinated. He\u2019s fresh off a cat dental cleaning. He has no time for cat cliques, only social inclusion, even when it comes to dog friends, like Luna (above)! And he\u2019s searching for his permanent people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, and<\/em> he\u2019s neutered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
